TASK FORCE PURPOSE STATEMENT
A Task Force was commissioned by St. Paul's Church Council to investigate our relationship with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Concerns with the direction and hierarchical structure of the church have manifested themselves over the years. The Task Force';s first step of action is to solicit information from you, the church membership here at St. Paul's. An information forum will be scheduled to help educate one another about the important issues facing the church. The Task Force members are: Scott Wentzel, Chris Wentzel, Wade Leistico, Bruce Duley, Lori Evans, Marc Cote, Meryl Barthel, and Abby Peterson.

LENTEN SERVICES - ALiVe in Jesus' Boat
Starting on Ash Wednesday - February 17th and all through the Lenten Season, at both the 5:30 and 7:00PM Services we will focus on a specific aspect of being ALiVe in Jesus' Boat. Soup and Sandwich will be served between the services, please join us for fellowship and this very special journey.
THRIVENT MEETING - FEBRUARY 21
There will be a Thrivent meeting on February 21st at Noon in the Fellowship Hall. The menu is Potluck please bring a dish to share. The agenda will focus on the new changes to the way that the congregation receive matching funds. Someone from Thriven will present us with information. All Thrivent members are welcome to attend, we are also in need of leaders to represent our congregation, our current leaders are Brian Brehmer, Dale Griffin and Helen Skutley. In 2009, we received $1,250.00 in fundraising dollars from Thrivent.

THRIVENT POLICY HOLDERS
For those who have Thrivent policies, they have a program called "GivingPlus" where they will match $1.00 for every $2.00 donated, with a maximum of $300 (for a $600 donation) per organization, per year. Simply fill out the GivingPlus Gift Form located at the Information Desk. You may leave the form and check on Helen's desk and she will get it to the right place. The preschool will send in the form to Thrivent.
